Course Overview & Description

A faith-based course teaching believers how to use scriptural declarations to renew the mind, speak positively, and align their words with God's promises for real transformation. Created for Christian women, faith-based content creators, ministry communities, and any believer who wants to move beyond passive Bible reading into actively declaring God's Word over their life.

  • The biblical foundation for spoken declarations — why God cares about your words
  • How to declare God's identity promises and see your self-image transform
  • Growth declarations to speak over your purpose, business, and calling
  • How to audit your words and replace negative speech with faith-filled declarations
  • The Abraham Principle — calling things that are not as though they are
  • A complete 30-day daily declaration practice

MODULE 1: The Power of Your Words — What God Says About What You Say

Discover why God places such weight on the words we speak — and why declarations are not just positive thinking but a spiritual discipline rooted in Scripture.

  • Understand the biblical foundation for speaking declarations
  • Distinguish between worldly affirmations and God-breathed declarations
  • Identify how your words affect your spiritual life and circumstances
  • Build confidence in using your voice as a tool for faith
Lesson 1: In the Beginning — God Spoke, and So Can You

God created the world with words. Genesis 1 shows us again and again: "And God said..." and it was so. As image-bearers of God, we carry that same creative capacity in our mouths. Biblical declarations are not self-help tricks — they are a God-given spiritual discipline.

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
— Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)
Write this verse on a sticky note and place it where you speak most — near your phone, computer, or mirror. Every morning before you speak anything else, read it aloud. Let it remind you that your words carry weight before God.
Declaration
I declare that my words carry life. I choose today to speak what God says about me, not what fear or failure whispers. My tongue is an instrument of faith, and I will use it to build, not tear down.
Prayer
Father, I come before You humbled by the power You have placed in my tongue. Forgive me for the times I have spoken death — doubt, defeat, and discouragement — over my own life. Today, I surrender my mouth to You. Holy Spirit, guard my lips. Let every word I speak today be seasoned with grace and rooted in truth. I want my words to sound like Yours. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lesson 2: Renewing the Mind — The Connection Between Thoughts and Declarations

You cannot consistently declare what you do not believe. Romans 12:2 commands the renewing of the mind because transformation starts there. Declarations spoken aloud help rewire thought patterns over time when rooted in Scripture.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
— Romans 12:2 (KJV)
Create a "Renewal List" — 5 areas where your thinking has been shaped by the world rather than the Word. Then find one Scripture per area and speak it aloud daily for 21 days. Track the shift in your thinking.
Declaration
I declare that my mind is being renewed by the Word of God. I refuse to be squeezed into the mold of this world's thinking. As I speak God's truth daily, my thoughts align with His thoughts, my ways align with His ways, and my life reflects His perfect will.
Prayer
Lord, I confess that my mind has been shaped by things that are not of You — by media, by fear, by past pain. Today I ask You to be the architect of my thinking. As I open Your Word and speak Your promises, let Your truth displace every lie. Transform my mind, Lord, and let that transformation show in how I live. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Quiz — Module 1
According to Proverbs 18:21, what is in the power of the tongue?
  • A) Success and failure
  • B) Death and life
  • C) Peace and trouble
  • D) Wisdom and foolishness
Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) says "Death and life are in the power of the tongue," establishing that our words carry the capacity to either build up or destroy.

MODULE 2: Declarations for Identity — Speaking Who God Says You Are

Many believers struggle with self-worth, shame, and feeling unseen. This module uses Scripture to declare God's truth about identity — replacing lies with God's definition of who you are.

  • Identify negative identity declarations you have spoken or believed
  • Learn 3 key identity scriptures and how to declare them daily
  • Build a personal identity declaration card
  • Understand the connection between God's identity over you and your purpose
Lesson 1: You Are Who God Says You Are

The enemy's primary weapon is identity theft — making you forget or reject who God created you to be. When you don't know who you are in Christ, you will live far below your calling. Declarations rooted in identity scriptures help you fight back.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
Say this verse with your name inserted: "If [Your Name] is in Christ, she is a new creature." Speak it before a mirror every morning for one week. Notice how it begins to shift how you see yourself.
Declaration
I declare that I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. My past does not define me — the blood of Jesus does. Old labels, old shame, old failures — they have no authority over who I am today. I am chosen, redeemed, beloved, and made new.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for making me new. I confess that I have allowed old identities to follow me into my new life. Today I renounce every label that was never meant for me: worthless, unwanted, not enough. I receive Your truth: I am Yours. I am new. I am loved. Seal this in my heart by Your Spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lesson 2: Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

God was intentional when He made you — He crafted every detail. Declaring this truth combats comparison, insecurity, and the lie that you were a mistake. Psalm 139 is one of the most personal passages in all of Scripture.

"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."
— Psalm 139:14 (KJV)
Use this verse as a morning declaration on days when comparison, insecurity, or self-doubt rise up. Say it out loud — not as a performance but as an act of worship and agreement with God about who He made you to be.
Declaration
I declare that I am fearfully and wonderfully made by the God of the universe. I was not an accident. I am not a mistake. Every part of me — my story, my gifts, my appearance, my personality — was crafted by hands that do not make mistakes.
Prayer
Creator God, I thank You for making me on purpose, with purpose. Help me to stop comparing myself to others and start celebrating how You uniquely made me. Where I have rejected what You created, forgive me. Restore my sense of wonder at who You designed me to be. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lesson 3: Chosen, Royal, Holy — Declaring Your Position in Christ

1 Peter 2:9 is a royal decree over every believer. You hold a position in God's Kingdom that was purchased at the highest price. Speak your spiritual rank — not in pride, but in gratitude and confidence.

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light."
— 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
Write out each phrase — chosen generation, royal priesthood, holy nation — and under each one write what it means for your daily life. Then speak the whole verse aloud as a declaration three times this week.
Declaration
I declare that I am chosen — not by accident but by God's sovereign love. I am a member of a royal priesthood. I am part of a holy nation. I have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light. I walk in the royal identity God has given me.
Prayer
Lord, let this truth sink into the deepest part of me. I have lived too long as though I were common, forgotten, or disqualified. Your Word says I am chosen, royal, holy. I receive that today. Let this declaration change how I walk into every room, every relationship, every challenge. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Quiz — Module 2
What does 2 Corinthians 5:17 say happens to someone who is in Christ?
  • A) They receive wisdom from above
  • B) They become a new creature and old things pass away
  • C) They are given a crown of righteousness
  • D) They are sealed by the Holy Spirit
2 Corinthians 5:17 declares that in Christ, a person is a new creature — old things are passed away and all things become new. This is the foundation for identity-based declarations.

MODULE 3: Declarations for Growth — Speaking Over Your Future

God's Word is full of promises about growth, provision, and flourishing. Learn to speak God's growth promises over your life, businesses, ministries, and families with faith aligned to His will.

Lesson 1: Like a Tree — Declaring Rootedness and Fruitfulness

Psalm 1 paints a vivid picture of the person who meditates on God's Word — like a tree planted by rivers of water, bearing fruit in season. Declaring this aligns your faith with the promise of stability and flourishing.

"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."
— Psalm 1:3 (KJV)
Speak this verse over every new endeavor — a new business, a new course, a new ministry season. Write it into the first page of your business or ministry planner. Declare it every Monday as you begin your work week.
Declaration
I declare that I am like a tree planted by rivers of living water. I am rooted in the Word of God. My roots go deep so that when seasons shift, I will not be moved. In every season — planting, growing, waiting, harvesting — I will bear fruit. Everything I put my hand to in obedience to God shall prosper.
Prayer
Father, make me a person of roots. Let Your Word go so deep in me that no drought, no storm, no delay can dry me up. I speak to every area of my life — my family, my ministry, my business, my finances — and I declare: we are planted, we are growing, we will bear fruit in season. I trust Your timing and I trust Your water. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lesson 2: Plans and a Future — Declaring God's Purpose Over Your Life

God's plans are not for harm but for hope. Jeremiah 29:11 is one of the most beloved verses in the Bible — this lesson teaches how to move it from a wall decoration to a living declaration spoken over your circumstances.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
— Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)
When uncertainty, fear, or confusion about your future arise, speak this verse aloud. Let it interrupt the spiral of worry. Journal what specific "expected end" you are believing God for and declare His faithfulness over it.
Declaration
I declare that God knows the plans He has for me — and they are good plans. Plans to prosper me and not to harm me. Plans to give me a future and a hope. I release control of my timeline to the One who holds it. My future is not uncertain to God — it is already secured in His hands.
Prayer
Lord, I confess that I have been anxious about things You have already planned for. Forgive my worry. I declare right now that Your thoughts toward me are good — not harmful, not punishing, not careless. You see the end from the beginning and You are working it all together. I rest in Your plan today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lesson 3: I Can Do All Things — Declaring Strength and Capacity

Philippians 4:13 was born in a prison cell. Paul wrote this from chains — declaring that his strength was not dependent on his circumstances. Declare capacity and strength even when everything around you says otherwise.

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
— Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
Make this your declaration before every intimidating task. Say it specifically: "I can [name the thing] through Christ who strengthens me." Use it before a hard conversation, a new launch, or a ministry assignment that feels too big.
Declaration
I declare that I can do all things — not through my own ability, talent, or willpower, but through Christ who gives me supernatural strength. When I feel weak, He is strong. When I feel unqualified, He qualifies me. I will not shrink from what God has called me to do.
Prayer
Jesus, I need Your strength right now. The things You have called me to are bigger than me — and I think that is the point. I declare that I am not doing this alone. You are my source. You are my energy. You are my confidence. I step forward today not in my own strength but in Yours. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Quiz — Module 3
What does Paul say is the source of his strength in Philippians 4:13?
  • A) His own perseverance
  • B) The support of the church
  • C) Christ who strengthens him
  • D) The grace of God the Father
Paul declares "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" — the source is Christ, not Paul's own will or effort. Declarations are rooted in Christ's ability, not our own.

MODULE 4: Changing What You Say to Become Who God Called You to Be

This capstone module teaches you how to audit your current word patterns, replace them with intentional declarations, and sustain the practice for lasting transformation.

Lesson 1: The Word Audit — What Are You Actually Saying?

Before you can change what you say, you need to hear what you are saying. Many of us speak defeat, limitation, and doubt without even noticing. Matthew 12:34 reminds us: out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.

"...for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."
— Matthew 12:34b (KJV)
For 3 days, keep a small notepad with you. Every time you say something negative, defeating, or faithless about yourself or your life, write it down. At the end of 3 days, review the list and find the Scripture that directly contradicts each statement. That becomes your new declaration.
Declaration
I declare that I will be honest about what I have been speaking. I will no longer be unaware of my words. As I listen to my heart, I will bring what is not in alignment with God's Word into the light — and replace it with truth. My mouth will overflow with what God's Word has first filled my heart with.
Prayer
Holy Spirit, be a lamp to my words. Show me what I have been speaking that I haven't even noticed — the quiet doubts, the passing complaints, the faithless agreements. I don't want to speak from a heart of fear anymore. Cleanse my heart so that my speech overflows with faith, hope, and love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lesson 2: Calling Things That Are Not — The Abraham Principle

Romans 4:17 reveals a radical truth: God calls things that are not as though they are. Abraham received a declaration — father of many nations — before he had a single child. Speaking what God promises before it manifests is not denial; it is faith.

"...God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were."
— Romans 4:17b (KJV)
Identify one promise in your life that has not yet manifested — healing, breakthrough, provision, a calling. Write a declaration in present tense as though God's promise is already true. Speak it every day, not as a denial of reality but as faith in God's greater reality.
Declaration
I declare, by the faith of Abraham, that I call those things which are not yet seen as though they already are — because God has promised them. I am not in denial; I am in faith. I speak healing over what is still sick. I speak abundance over what is still lean. I speak breakthrough over what is still closed.
Prayer
Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — You are the God who calls the impossible into being. Strengthen my faith to declare what I cannot yet see. Let me hold fast to Your promises with the same tenacity Abraham had — not staggering at Your Word, but being strong in faith and giving You glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lesson 3: Your 30-Day Declaration Practice — Building a Lifestyle

Transformation does not happen in a single declaration — it happens in consistent practice. Joshua 1:8 commands that the Book of the Law not depart from the mouth. Build a sustainable 30-day practice that becomes a lasting spiritual discipline.

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
— Joshua 1:8 (KJV)
Use the 30 declarations in the next tab as your plan. Assign a different declaration to each day, or group by theme each week. Speak them morning and night. Journal what you notice shifting — in your thoughts, emotions, and circumstances.
Declaration
I declare that the Word of God will not depart from my mouth. Day and night I will meditate on His promises. I will build a lifestyle of declaration — not just when I am desperate, but as an act of daily worship and faith. As I do, I declare that my ways will prosper and I will have the success God defines.
Prayer
Lord, I commit to building this practice. When life gets busy and I forget, remind me. Send Your Spirit to prompt me to open Your Word and speak it. I want this to be a lifestyle, not just a season. Make me a woman whose mouth overflows with the goodness of God all the days of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Quiz — Module 4
According to Romans 4:17, what does God do with "things which be not"?
  • A) He waits patiently for them to exist
  • B) He calls them as though they already are
  • C) He reveals them to prophets first
  • D) He commands believers to earn them
Romans 4:17 reveals God's nature: He "calleth those things which be not as though they were." This is the biblical foundation for faith-based declarations — speaking God's promises in present tense before they are physically visible.

📜 30-Day Biblical Declaration Plan

Speak one declaration aloud every morning and evening. Journal what shifts over the 30 days.
